BotConnector is an AI software service operated under the BotConnector brand by an individual sole proprietor based in Indonesia. These Terms govern your use of botconnector.id, the BotConnector Web App, BCCLI, Developer API, Local AI features, and BotConnector Cloud services.
By creating an account or using BotConnector, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. Unless applicable law permits otherwise, BotConnector is intended for users aged 18 or older.
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, safeguarding credentials and API keys, and activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials in a way that allows unauthorized access.
2. The BotConnector service
BotConnector provides software for accessing and running AI capabilities through supported modes, including:
- Free Starter Cloud, subject to availability and dynamic fair-use controls;
- PAYG Cloud, where supported AI usage is charged against prepaid service usage;
- Local AI, where supported models run on the user's own device or local runtime;
- Web App, BCCLI, and Developer API interfaces;
- supported document, coding, search, image, audio, and other AI workflows.
Features, models, providers, context windows, quotas, and availability may change as the service and upstream providers evolve.
3. Free Starter
Free Starter is provided without a guaranteed fixed level of capacity. Fair-use, concurrency, model availability, abuse protection, and shared-capacity controls may apply. We may change, suspend, or retire free models or free capacity without converting free usage into a paid obligation.
4. PAYG and prepaid AI usage
Where PAYG is available, you may purchase prepaid BotConnector AI usage credits for eligible BotConnector services.
Usage credits:
- are service entitlements usable only for eligible BotConnector AI consumption;
- are not money, e-money, a bank balance, a gift card, or a general-purpose stored-value product;
- cannot be transferred between users or redeemed for cash;
- are deducted according to the usage and rate information presented by BotConnector for the applicable service;
- may be subject to provider availability, technical limits, and account safeguards.
BotConnector tracks eligible usage in its internal billing ledger. If a metering or billing error is identified, we may correct the affected ledger entries.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices, currencies, taxes, and applicable charges are shown before purchase or on the relevant pricing/billing screen.
When checkout is provided through Paddle, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for the transaction and may collect payment, calculate applicable taxes, issue transaction documents, and handle payment-related support according to its terms. BotConnector does not require or store full payment-card numbers.
A purchase is not complete until the payment processor confirms successful payment.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Usage already consumed is generally not refundable except where required by law or where a confirmed billing or service error applies.
7. AI providers and third-party services
Cloud requests may be processed by supported model vendors or inference providers selected by BotConnector for the requested model or service. Third-party services may have their own terms, technical limits, and availability.
BotConnector provides a unified access layer but does not own third-party model trademarks or guarantee that an upstream model or provider will remain available indefinitely.
8. AI outputs
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
BotConnector does not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, or other regulated professional advice. Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for qualified professional judgment where such judgment is required.
9. Your content
You retain rights you have in prompts, files, inputs, and outputs, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
You grant BotConnector only the rights reasonably necessary to receive, transmit, process, store temporarily where required, and return your content for the service you request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights and permissions necessary for content you upload or instruct the service to process.
10. Acceptable use
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Among other restrictions, you may not use BotConnector for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, harmful malware, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, deceptive deepfakes, face swaps, voice impersonation, or unauthorized use of another person's likeness.
Certain generative media features may be restricted or disabled where required by law, model-provider policy, or payment-provider policy.
11. Intellectual property
BotConnector software, branding, documentation, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No right is granted to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute proprietary BotConnector components except where expressly permitted by law or an applicable open-source license.
Names and trademarks of third-party AI models and providers belong to their respective owners.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep BotConnector available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, upstream outages, capacity limits, security events, internet failures, or provider changes may affect availability.
We may modify features when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, reliability, provider changes, or product development.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, unpaid or reversed transactions, legal obligations, violations of these Terms, or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion does not automatically erase records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute, or legal compliance.
14. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BotConnector is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that every model, output, feature, or third-party integration will always be available or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, BotConnector is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on AI output, third-party provider failure, or misuse of the service.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country where you reside.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service, law, or payment/provider requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain published on this page.
